Notes on systemic autoimmune diseases:

1. Rheumatoid arthritis (note ulnar deviation at joints)
2. Sjogren (“Shogren’) sydrome (also localized inflammation of salivary glands)
3. Scleroderma (not just limited to skin!!)…this is why it is called systemic sclerosis.
Fibrosis seen in dermis, can also be seen in internal organs.
